Architecture Graduate Masters of Science (MS_ARCH) Program - Post Professional Degree - CALA
This program is aimed at advanced understanding of the theories and principles related to sustainable and green building design including energy conservation, passive solar, and Net-Zero design. Developed methodologies are applicable in different regions throughout the world. Research activities include site survey methods, field and laboratory test instruments for daylight, comfort and natural ventilation. Mastery of advanced computer energy simulation for buildings and outdoor spaces. Students are prepared to achieve accreditation of the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED(c) Program.

The "House Energy Doctor" is an education, research, and community outreach program developed at the University of Arizona's School of Architecture since 1986. The program promotes students learning of energy conservation and passive solar design through field investigation of existing buildings and simulation of new and innovative sustainable projects.
